专家简介:

2001年和2003年获清华大学自动化系学士和硕士学位,20072007年获美国威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校博士学位,2007年至2008年在威斯康辛大学从事博士后研究,2008年至2009年在美国加州大学伯克利分校的California PATH研究所作博士后研究。

现为阿尔伯塔大学土木与环境工程系助理教授,智能交通研究中心主任;。目前担任美国Transportation Research Board城市交通信息委员会(ABJ30)学术委员,加拿大智能交通协会(ITS Canada)委员和大学高校代表,阿尔伯塔省交通专家委员会委员,美国自然科学基金、加拿大自然科学基金和加州交通厅研究项目评审专家,担任TRB年会及期刊、IEEE智能交通等领域内顶级学术会议和期刊的审稿人,担任SCI期刊Journal of Intelligent Transportation System的客座编辑(Guest Editor)


研究领域:智能交通系统,交通建模与仿真,交通管理与控制,交通状态检测、评估与预测,交通安全分析等。 

 


报告内容概要:

Connected Vehicle (CV) systems include a suite of technologies and applications that use wireless communications and multiple sensors to provide connectivity between vehicles and with the surrounding infrastructure to improve safety, increase mobility, and reduce the environmental impact of transportation. The ACTIVE-AURORA CV testbeds will be jointly developed by the University of Alberta and the University of British Columbia. In Edmonton, the ACTIVE (Alberta Cooperative Transportation Infrastructure and Vehicular Environment) testbed will be built in collaboration with Transport Canada, Alberta Transportation, the City of Edmonton, and other public and private organizations in Alberta. The ACTIVE testbed is intended to provide an open and on-road platform for the whole ITS society, including academia, public agencies, transportation associations and private companies across Canada, to facilitate their related efforts. It will also aim to solve transportation problems unique to Canada, such as the impact of cold weather on transportation systems. The other chief purpose of the ACTIVE testbed is to identify the wireless communications solutions that maximize the effectiveness of CV applications, and to explore the future convergence between Connected Vehicle and Autonomous Vehicle. This component will provide suggestions for a future CV development strategy in Canada. Several finalized and ongoing research projects to be performed using the ACTIVE testbed will be briefly discussed.
