The 7th Digital Transport Forum Successfully Opens

The 7th Digital Transportation Forum opened successfully in Yancheng, Jiangsu on August 26th. The theme of this forum was Digital Transportation · Facilitating High-Quality Development of Comprehensive Transportation. It was a traffic technology event jointly hosted by the Jiangsu Comprehensive Transportation Association, Southeast University, and Yancheng Comprehensive Transportation Association. The forum was co-organized by Southeast University, with Professor Wu Gang, the Executive Vice President of the university, serving as the Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee. The School of Transportation of Southeast University co-organized the forum with the aim of thoroughly implementing the important mission assigned to Jiangsu by General Secretary Xi Jinping to continue to lead high-quality development, responding to the strategic deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on accelerating the construction of a transportation power, network power, and digital China, and the strategic deployment of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government on developing the digital economy and building digital transportation. The forum aimed to accelerate the digital transformation of the transportation industry and the industrialization of digital transportation development, strongly supporting the construction of a modern transportation demonstration zone in Jiangsu Province and facilitating high-quality development of local transportation and the economy and society. The keynote speakers included academician Liu Jiaping, a specially invited expert from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Professor Liu Pan, the Executive Secretary of the University's Party Committee. Professor Chen Jun, Dean of the School of Transportation, and Professor Zhang Jian, Deputy Director of the University's Academic Affairs Office, and Professor Wang Jian of the School of Transportation also attended the forum.
