ZHANG Wenbo


Wenbo Zhang is currently Associate Professor in the School of Transportation, Southeast University. He received the Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Purdue University. Prior to his PhD, he also received the M.S. in transportation engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China and the B.S. degree in transportation from China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China. He leads the SenseITS Lab at Southeast University.

His research interests involve transportation big data analytics, urban mobility analysis, taxi system management, and complex network modeling in transportation. He uses interdisciplinary modeling techniques to address issues at the intersection of multiple disciplines. He has published methodological works and practical papers on the above topics in peer reviewed journals and conferences. His work has been funded by various grants from the National Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, Huawei, etc.
