Bao Qiong

Dr. Qiong Bao is an associate professor of the School of Transportation at Southeast University in China. She received her Ph.D in Transportation Sciences from Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) of Hasselt University, Belgium in 2016, and continued to work in Hasselt University as a research assistant. From October 2017, she started to work at the School of Transportation of Southeast University.

Dr. Bao’s current research interests include decision-making and behavior analysis, travel demand prediction, traffic safety evaluation, logistic planning and management, etc. During the past years, Dr. Bao has coordinated and participated in a number of transportation-related research projects funded by NSFC, MOST, EU, IWT, etc., based on which she has published over 40 articles in scientific peer-reviewed journals and conferences, such as Transportation Research Part C/F, Accident Analysis and Prevention, International Journal of Intelligent Systems and Knowledge-Based Systems. She received the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad in 2015.
