Junjun Ni is a full professor in Southeast University. He is the recipient of Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program (Overseas) by NSFC in 2021. His research interests include eco-geotechnics, unsaturated soil mechanics, and solid waste recycling. He is the PI for several research projects and has published over 60 papers in Chinese and English journals. He has received many awards, including the Second Prize of Huaxia Construction Science and Technology, the Bright Spark Award from the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), the Best Paper Award from the Institution of Civil Engineers (Telford Premium Prize), the Honorable Best Paper Award from the International Society of Environmental Geotechnology (Hsai-Yang FANG), and the top three Outstanding Engineering Monographs by Taylor & Francis International.
