王文炜,东南大学交通学院教授、博士研究生导师,东南大学桥梁研究中心新材料及组合结构研究室副主任、新材料组合结构桥梁研究中心主任。2003年获大连理工大学结构工程博士学位,同年7月进入东南大学交通学院从事桥梁工程的教学、科研工作。2011~2013年期间多次赴香港理工大学土木与环境工程学系做访问学者,分别于2011年2月~2012年2月、2017年8月~2017年9月期间受国家留学基金委全额资助赴美国匹兹堡大学土木与环境工程学系、加州大学伯克利分校土木与环境工程系做访问教授/访问学者。
主持国家一流本科课程(第二批)“结构设计原理”,主持江苏省一流本科课程、省级精品在线开放课程(慕课)“结构设计原理”,出版和参编专著各1部,参编国家级规划教材“结构设计原理”1部,主编东南大学优秀研究生教材“桥梁工程现代材料”1部、主编东南大学本科规划教材“新材料组合结构设计原理”1部。
长期从事桥梁结构的加固与修复、新材料在桥梁工程中应用等方面的研究工作,主要研究方向为:1)桥梁结构的抗撞损伤评估与防护;2)新型材料在桥梁结构中的应用;3)桥梁结构智能建造与运维;4)桥梁结构的修复与加固;5)组合结构桥梁;6)桥梁混凝土的耐久性和防腐。作为项目负责人主持国家自然基金面上项目3项,省、部级项目6项,企业合作项目30余项;发表文章120余篇,50余篇被SCI、60余篇被EI收录;授权国家发明、实用新型专利60余项;获中国公路学会一等奖、二等奖及三等奖各1项、湖北省科技进步一等奖1项、湖北省技术发明一等奖1项、辽宁省科技进步三等奖1项、江苏省科技进步三等奖1项;主编团体(协会)标准3部、参编协会标准2部;担任中国公路学会桥梁与结构分会理事,中国建筑学会新材料及新型结构专业委员会委员及江苏省复合材料学会结构复合材料专业委员会委员。

Wang Wenweiis a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Transportation, Southeast University. He is also the deputy director of the New Materials and Composite Structures Research Laboratory and the director of the New Materials Composite Structures Bridge Research Center at SEU Bridge Research Center. In 2003, he obtained a doctoral degree in structural engineering from Dalian University of Technology. In July of the same year, he entered the School of Transportation at Southeast University to engage in teaching and research work in bridge engineering. From 2011 to 2013, he visited the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University multiple times as a visiting scholar. From February 2011 to February 2012 and from August 2017 to September 2017, he received full funding from the China Scholarship Council to visit the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley in the United States as a visiting professor/scholar.
Meanwhile, he hosted the National First Class Undergraduate Course (Second Batch) "Principles of Structural Design", hosted the Jiangsu Province First Class Undergraduate Course and the Provincial Excellent Online Open Course (MOOC) "Principles of Structural Design", published and participated in the compilation of one monograph each, participated in the compilation of one national planning textbook "Principles of Structural Design", edited one excellent graduate textbook "Modern Materials for Bridge Engineering" at Southeast University, and edited one undergraduate planning textbook "Principles of New Material Composite Structural Design" at Southeast University.
Moreover, he engaged in long-term research on the reinforcement and repair of bridge structures, as well as the application of new materials in bridge engineering. The main research directions are: 1) collision damage assessment and protection of bridge structures; 2) The application of new materials in bridge structures; 3) Intelligent construction and operation of bridge structures; 4) Repair and reinforcement of bridge structures; 5) Composite structure bridge; 6) Durability and anti-corrosion of bridge concrete. As the project leader,he has led 3 National Natural Science Foundation general projects, 6 provincial and ministerial level projects, and over 30 enterprise cooperation projects;published over 120 articles, with over 50 being SCI indexed and over 60 being EI indexed;authorized over 60 national invention and utility model patents;received one first prize, one second prize, and one third prize each from the China Highway Society, one first prize for scientific and technological progress in Hubei Province, one first prize for technological invention in Hubei Province, one third prize for scientific and technological progress in Liaoning Province, and one third prize for scientific and technological progress in Jiangsu Province.serving as a member of the Bridge and Structure Branch of the China Highway Society, a member of the New Materials and New Structures Professional Committee of the China Architecture Society, and a member of the Structural Composite Materials Professional Committee of the Jiangsu Composite Materials Society. Lastly, heis the chief editor of3 group (association) standards and a contributor to2 association standards.
