陈甦人教授为美国土木工程师协会(ASCE)会士(Fellow),美国注册土木工程师。入选全球前2%顶尖科学家职业生涯榜和年度榜(领域:土木工程-交通及物流)。基于跨学科研究背景,陈教授同时担任桥梁工程,交通工程及风工程等领域权威期刊副主编和编委职务,其中包括ASCEJournal of Bridge Engineering副主编(2011年至今)及Analytic Methods in Accident Research编辑顾问委员会委员(2019年至今)。

研究方向:

主要从事灾害和不利环境下交通系统的跨学科研究,其研究涵盖桥梁道路基础设施、行驶车辆、交通网络以及社区在内的多尺度交通系统在各种灾害及不利情况(如风、地震、洪水、冰雪及山区交通条件等)下的韧性、安全性、可持续性的分析、风险评估、灾前预防、灾后应急与恢复对策。近十年来致力于打破传统学科壁垒,融合传统桥梁工程、交通工程、灾害研究及系统韧性方面的优势开展韧性交通系统及城市这一跨学科前沿研究方向的创新工作。通过结合迅速发展的智能交通管控技术、大数据、人工智能、车人环境协同感知以及复杂结构和环境模拟及试验等技术提供全面提升交通系统及城市在线等多尺度上的安全性、服务性及系统韧性的综合解决方案。
