The students of our college won the special prize in the third "transportation future" college students science and innovation works competition


Recently, the 3rd "Transportation Future" University Student Science and Technology Creation Competition was held at Shanghai Jiaotong University. A total of 729 works from 134 universities across the country participated in this competition. Hong Zhengqiang, Liu Yuhao, Yan Jiayu, and Zhang Qiuju, the 2019 graduate students of the Department of Road Engineering of our school, finally won the special prize. The instructor is Professor Huang Xiaoming.


The competition is organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xi 'an Jiao Tong University, Southwest Jiao Tong University and Beijing Jiao Tong University under the guidance of the Chinese Association for Higher Education. Contest is divided into "future traffic design", "future traffic management", "future traffic energy" and "future intelligent transportation" four track, designed to better implement the strategic decision of developing the country by relying on science and education, cultivate students' scientific and technological innovation and practical ability, strengthen the technological and cultural exchanges between universities students, boosting innovation and development in intelligent transportation field.


The competition is divided into four major regions: east, south, west and north. The work "Research on Rutting Threshold of Asphalt Pavement Based on Vehicle Driving Stability" by students of our school was entered in September 2020. After repeated modification and polishing, it stood out from the east and entered the final in December. There were a total of 155 works in the final. Finally, we completed the online defense of the final on January 10, 2021, and won the first place and the special prize among the 23 final works of "Future Traffic Management" track.
