On June 6th, the opening ceremony of SEU Geological museum was held in the library of SEU Jiulonghu campus.
Zhong Wenqi vice president of SEU, Xie Xingnan secretary of the Party committee of Jiangsu Geological Survey Institute, Chen Huogen vice dean of Jiangsu Geolical Bureau and etc. attended the event. The ceremony was hosted by Chen Yi, secretary of the party commitee of school of transportation of SEU.
The museum covers an area of 450 square meters, and is divided into 5 showrooms, with more than 10000 specimens. The collection of specimens include dinosaur eggs, rock core samples of key construction projects and etc..There is also a collection of ground layer cut of Nanjing Yangtzi River project and Sanxia Project collected by colleagues of SEU.
The geological museum of SEU will increase vitality to our school, and is hoped to become a new favourite spot of leisure and education in the future.
