On June 6th, academician Lin Ming returned to SEU and made a speech on the SEU 120 aniversary as the representative of SEU alumni. The speech was about the spectacular construction project of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is the longest cross-sea bridge in the world. The complex project is consists of bridge, tunnel, and man-made island, making it the most difficult in the building process, and is regarded as one of the seven wonders of the new world.
The JOIN Art Troupe of school of transportation has organized an orginal stage play the rainbow to the far in the name of SEU 120 anniversary. On the afternoon of June 6th, Lin Ming watched the play at Jiao Tingbiao Stadium. After the show, audiences all burst into tears and they applaused again and again. Lin Ming went on the stage and shaked hands with the troupe members.
