The emergence of intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) is expected to become an effective means of alleviating traffic congestion, improving traffic safety, and reducing traffic energy consumption. This report will introduce the recent work of our team in the field of multi-vehicle cooperative control of ICVs, firstly briefly introducing the research background of ICVs, further introducing the work done by the research group on the formation of vehicle queues, merging/diverging and other typical scenarios, and finally discussing the prospects and thoughts on this field.
