On December 14-15, 2024, the 2024 International Conference on Smart Transportation Interdisciplinary Studies (ICSTIS), sponsored by Southeast University, was grandly held in Nanjing, China.The conference was organized by the School of Transportation of Southeast University, and co-organized by the School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Instrument Science and Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering, School of Automation, School of Mathematics, School of Architecture, School of Energy and Environment of Southeast University, and Zhejiang Research Center for Urban Governance. The conference was specially supported by the Strategic Alliance for the Pilot Construction of Transportation Powerhouse of Southeast University, the Research Center for Transportation Powerhouse Strategy of Southeast University, and the Professional Committee of Integrated Transportation Intelligent Transportation of China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association.
The conference invited experts from overseas countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Russia, as well as more than 200 well-known domestic experts and scholars. The conference received about 150 paper submissions and attracted over 400 scholars from home and abroad to participate. This conference featured 4 keynote speeches brought by domestic and international experts, 70 reports in 9 parallel sub-forums, and more than one hundred conference paper posters were carried out simultaneously. A large number of experts and scholars gathered together to exchange new technologies and developments in the field of transportation, jointly explore the cutting-edge theories and key technologies of smart interdisciplinary development, and jointly promote the progress of the transportation industry and talent exchange and cooperation.
