- On March 25, 2025, Elsevier officially released the 2024 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list. A total of 9 faculty members from our school were named to the list, with 8 from the Transportation Engineering discipline and 1 from Civil Engineering.

- The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) recently held an awards ceremony in London, where the research paper by Professor Liu Songyu's team from Southeast University was honored with the 2024 Telford Premium Prize.
