王文炜，1971年12月出生，东南大学交通学院教授、博士研究生导师，新材料组合结构桥梁研究中心主任。2003年获大连理工大学结构工程博士学位，同年7月进入东南大学交通学院从事桥梁工程的教学、科研工作。2011～2013年期间多次赴香港理工大学土木与环境工程学系做访问学者，分别于2011年2月～2012年2月、2017年8月～2017年9月期间受国家留学基金委全额资助赴美国匹兹堡大学土木与环境工程学系、加州大学伯克利分校土木与环境工程系做访问教授/访问学者。
从事新型材料在桥梁工程中应用、智能建造与结构韧性提升、桥梁结构抗撞损伤评估与防护、桥梁结构性能提升与延寿新技术、新型组合结构桥梁等方面的研究工作。主持国家自然基金面上项目3项，省、部级项目6项，企业合作项目30余项；出版和参编专著各1部，参编国家级规划教材1部；主编协会标准2项，团体标准1项，参编协会标准4项；发表文章100余篇，30余篇被SCI、60余篇被EI收录，H指数16；授权国家发明专利30项；获中国公路学会、辽宁省、江苏省、湖北省科技进步奖、技术发明奖共10项。
担任国际桥梁与结构工程学会（IABSE）会员、中国公路学会桥梁与结构分会常务理事，中国建筑学会新材料及新型结构专业委员会委员及江苏省复合材料学会结构复合材料专业委员会委员，并多次担任国际会议组织委员会委员、分会主席。此外，还担任SCI期刊Sustainability的客座编辑，Journal of Construction and Building Materials 、Journal of Composites for Construction（ASCE）、中国公路学报、工程力学、建筑结构学报等国内外50多个期刊的评审专家，同时也是国家自然科学基金、中国博士后基金同行评议评审专家。

Wang Wenwei, born in December 1971, is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Transportation of Southeast University, and the director of the Research Center for New Materials Composite Structures and Bridges. In 2003, he received a doctor's degree in Structural Engineering from Dalian University of Technology. In July of the same year, he entered the School of Transportation of Southeast University to engage in teaching and scientific research of bridge engineering. From 2011 to 2013, he went to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Hong Kong Polytechnic University for many times as a visiting scholar. From February 2011 to February 2012, and from August 2017 to September 2017, he was fully funded by the National Scholarship Foundation to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of Pittsburgh and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of California, Berkeley.
Engaged in research on application of new materials in bridge engineering, intelligent construction and structural toughness improvement, bridge structure anti-collision damage assessment and protection, new technology for improving bridge structure performance and life extension, new composite structure bridges, etc. Presided over 3 general projects of NSFC, 6 provincial and ministerial projects, and more than 30 enterprise cooperation projects; He has published and participated in the compilation of 1 monograph and 1 national planning textbook; Chief editor of 2 association standards, 1 group standard and 4 association standards; More than 100 articles were published, more than 30 articles were included in SCI, and more than 60 articles were included in EI, with H index of 16; 30 national invention patents are authorized; It has won 10 science and technology progress awards and technology invention awards from China Highway Society, Liaoning Province, Jiangsu Province and Hubei Province.
He has served as a member of the International Association of Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE), a standing director of the Bridge and Structure Branch of China Highway Society, a member of the Professional Committee of New Materials and New Structures of China Architectural Society, a member of the Professional Committee of Structural Composites of Jiangsu Composite Materials Society, and a member of the organizing committee and chairman of the branch of international conferences for many times.
